It's been kind of amazing watching Mastodon become useful overnight. I struggled to find relevant content here before the massive Twitter exodus.
I especially appreciate the longer form writing format that most instances seem to support. It's going to take some time to get used to this. I cannot believe that Twitter has broken my (our?) brain(s) this badly.
@meph I love it as long as the excess gets tucked behind a fold, and unfortunately Astodon for iOS doesn't do it yet. It's especially comical when the whole thing is CW'ed and you have to scroll the whole thing four screens to get halfway thru to read it
