How do you stay sharply self-critical without feeling like a giant piece of shit 24/7 tho

So, your Mastodon instance:

- who are the admins?
- who is holding the bag legally for content on the server?
- what is the editorial policy around trending hashtags? Trending posts?
- how active are the moderators?
- can they tell the difference between someone harassing a user, and someone just being generically awful,, and which ones do they moderate?
- is there a different standard for local behavior than remote?
- what reports will they act on?
- how timely?
- how are decisions on all of the above made?

Friends, to keep your eyes working correctly, please remember the 20-20-20 rule [of thumb]:

Look at something 20+ feet away for at least 20 seconds every 20 minutes.

If you use your phone for more than five hours a day, you may be at risk for serious vision loss!

A reminder that there is NO SUCH THING as "detransitioning" -- you cannot undo something that already happened, you can only transition again. And it's perfectly normal for someone's gender to change many times, or even continuously, throughout their lifetime. The "detransitioner" is a hideous, opportunistic political invention that must be repelled at a fundamental level.

Attendance in school is mandated by law; as such, lunch should be provided for the kids. Name any other situation where state or federal government compels someone to be present for 4 or more hours and does not provide nourishment, or compensation and time to procure nourishment.
